Welcome to the Blog

Hello, everyone. Welcome to my blog. I decided to create this blog because I love movies, plays, and musicals and over the past couple of years, I have begun to look at them more critically and less casually. I have begun to develop opinions for every single movie, play, and musical that I watch and I try to back up every single one of my opinions with facts. So, I have decided to share my opinions with everyone else and post my personal reviews of movies, plays, and musicals that I watch.

However, this blog is not simply for the sole purpose of putting my opinions on the table. I also want to use this blog to hear all of your opinions as well. I want people to leave comments when they agree or disagree with one or more of my points and say why they do so as well. That way, people could be introduced to many different opinions of certain movies, plays, and musicals. I also hope that people will use to comments to give me suggestions of a movie, play, or musical to review.

I plan to post here as frequently as I can. I do not have a specific schedule planned out yet pertaining to how frequently I will post but I hope to have one soon. Also, please keep in mind that I am not a professional reviewer and I do not have an extensive background knowledge to film and stage history. I am just a guy who looks at movies, plays, and musicals more critically than the average person. That being said, if I am ever wrong about something I post on this blog, please do not hesitate to correct me.

Also, if you plan to comment, I would like to give you a couple of ground rules. Rule number one: please no swearing. I would like to keep this blog a relatively PG environment so I would appreciate it if you did not swear, unless you are using a direct quote from the movie, play, or musical I'm reviewing in your argument. Rule number two: I do not mind too much if you insult me but please refrain from insulting each other in the comments. Discussing and critiquing someone's opinion and insulting that person are two very different things. If you don't know the difference, learn it. Finally, rule number three: do not use this blog as a way to talk to people about completely irrelevant topics. I'm not talking about just saying hi or asking how someone's day is going; I'm talking about trying to engage in something like a political debate with someone. Things could get very ugly very fast and I do not want that to happen. Other than that, feel free to comment whatever you want.

I hope to have my first review up in a couple of days. Please feel free to start leaving suggestions immediately for what movie, play, or musical you want me to review. Thank you for reading and I look forward to talking with all of you.
